Welcome to Word of Faith Answers!  Find out answers to the tough questions!

The Word of Faith movement has been attacked by many mainstream evangelicals in the last decade. Critics call it the “name it, claim it”, “blab it grab it”, or “health and wealth” Gospel. They claim that we elevate man to the position of deity and limit God's sovereignty.  They claim that speaking to your mountains is New Age positive thinking.  They claim that we are man-centered instead of God-centered.

We must be ready to give an answer. Why do we believe God wants to heal us? Why do we still die? Why do we emphasize positive confession? Can we speak to our mountains?  Can we believe for exactly what we pray for? How can we claim Old Testament promises? Why didn’t the apostles have an abundant life? Are we called to suffer as they did?  Was Paul's thorn a sickness? Does faith lay claim to God's promises?  Whose faith?

Check out Chad's new book, "God in a Box?  The Sovereignty of God in Word of Faith Theology".  This book is a comprehensive defense of faith, refuting the biased arguments of popular evangelical heresy hunters:
